A great marketing gadget that seems very effective, is utilizing a fictional character to sell the product. We most commonly see this with kids breakfast cereals. But when Progressive Car Insurance came out with “Flo” it turned into a long running soap opera type of series which worked really well with audiences living in the United States.

This kind of marketing is something to think about when creating that next big marketing campaign. So why not experiment beforehand, maybe on yourself or with a team? That´s what I did, taking all of my own advice, trying something stupid, being silly, to see if I could sell a product in a type of parody….

What´s most important when selling the product? Creative thinking goes along way, know what I mean?
